TERMINATION

You deserted me in my hour of need
I cried hard for your cold deed
I just fail to comprehend
Happiness is now found in strands
Wherever I look I am in dismay
But I do believe there’s got to be a way

There’s no point in whining now
Pillar of trust has stooped so low
Now I don’t need any consolation
Thanks for this much needed termination

(1)

Now I am out of the vicious circle of lies
U’ve broken me so hard that my soul cries
If this was your intention you should have made it clear
Could have stopped myself from being fooled by ur tears
Why did I trust you? U’ve made me so weak
That now I feel like my life is a living freak

There’s no point in whining now
Pillar of trust has stooped so low
Now I don’t need any consolation
Thanks for this much needed termination

(2)

I was such a fool to be entangled in your laugh
I was taken aback when so easily you called it off
What was my fault? Please answer me
It may be a joke for you but its life for me
U have become my habit I can’t forget you
Wish you could have realized that my love was true

There’s no point in whining now
Pillar of trust has stooped so low
Now I don’t need any consolation
Thanks for this much needed termination

  1. Hello!
Waited anxiously for your song I liked it but as a self proclaimed literary critic like to rate it b/w 5.5-6/10.
Really like 1st stanza though and the repetition of the four lines.
And in the end who am I. Write my friend what your heart says.
I also write poems but for myself only.U are more extrovert and I find it quiet amazing that despite being a science student we never think that much for it.Maybe that's our inner soul or maybe our destiny.Don't get me wrong Destiny here implies The Destination and not the luck.
I would end with these lines by Alexander Pope
"Play Your Part Well There All The Honor Lies.
Now I am fedup of typing in mobile so till then
    Sayonara!
